First Look
When he first saw her, he didnt quite notice her. He was wrapped around power, and what he could become. It was days in that town before he truely saw her and he was stuck in place. When he looked into her eyes he saw someone he knew but at the same time no one. She was the one person who could easily distroy him or build him up and it scared him to see how much power she could easily have over him just by one look.
He tried to stay away for days even trying to leave the town, but he had a job here. Each day he stayed away and locked up it broke him down further. After a few days of pouting he finally got the courage to find and meet her. It was a bright morning when he was walking around the market. He was getting glances his way, mostly confused and a few frightened ones but no one came up to him. It was a few minutes untill he finally saw her standing there. He stood there watching her for a few minutes, building up the courage to go up to her. Soon he did and he tapped on her shoulder.
"Um hello, Im Cerin." He said with a shakey voice.
She looked over at him and blinked a couple times before answering. "Yes I know who you are." She said with a slight smile. "Im giselle."
Cerin laughed. "Yeah I forgot about that. Thats a nice name, and would you mind if I joined you on this walk?"
Giselle shrugged. "I wouldnt mind. To be honest, I would have expected you to be different."
Cerin looked at her confused. "Different? How?"
"More mean and scarier than someone who likes to walk through markets with people."
"Yeah, I guess todays my off day of being a big, bad, and scary myth."
She smiled. "The that makes me wonder, are you like this all the time and the being scary is a mask or is this your mask?"
Cerin shrugged and smiled. "I try not to let a lot of people know I have a soft side because I dont want to country to sing my name and be made into a teddy for the kids to sleep with."
"And whats bad about that?"
"Everything, Im not a snuggle toy. Im tough....and scary."
Giselle smiled at that and continued to walk on, little did she know she could be the only one in the world to draw out the soft side of him

Tough Times
Cerin Slammed his fist against the desk and glared at Azarlah. "What do you mean they dont want me?"
Azarlah sighed, he was getting used to these anger surges. "Calm down Cerin, theyre just not used to being ruled thats all it just takes time."
"I dont have time, I've waited long enough to have this power again!" He said with a snarl.
Azarlah shook his head. "What would Giselle think if she saw you now?"
Cerin slumped in his chair. "Dont you dare use her on me now." But even though he said it the battle left him.
Azarlah smiled smuggly. "What do you suggest now?"
Cerin huffed. "Do anything you can, do that calm approach. Let them have their open minds to this."
Azarlah nodded. "I'll see if I can do anything else."

Nomadic Travels
It was five weeks since he was last sitting at a desk. Five weeks since he even though about ruling or power. Sitting her under his favorite tree was the best thing for him now, to just escape all this stress and anger. To spend a month out in the wild, away from everything.
Everything in this new world confused him, from this new technology to the humans that still tried and take over their lands. Being here erased everything and eased his mind. He would and could spend days out here just reading and watch nature interact around him. There was other places that helped him escape but this place was the one he went to most. It was a grassy field that was surrounded by a forest but inside the field and on a hill sat one lonely tree. Deers and other wild life would come and go through out the day, and there was always this one deer that would come by and sit with him for a few hours once and a while. It was the same deer that he saved from being lunch when it was just a little fawn.
Today Cerin was sitting under this tree with the deer next to him. He was reading the book he would read when the deer was around.
" 'I could spin a web if I tried,' said wilbur, boasting. 'I've just never tried.' " Said cerin reading the book.
Cerin snorted and looked over at his friend. "You would kind of expect to know a pig couldnt spin a web, oh silly pig."
The deer bobbed its head almost like she was agreeing with Cerin.
Cerin smiled and continued to read the book as the hours passed on by.
